Al Sheikh disavows The Qatari Emir’s ancestry

The Al Sheikh family in Saudi Arabia, composed of Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab grandsons, disavows the former Qatari Emir allegations about being a descendant of the Sheikh and follows his method "Salafi and centered call", demanding to change the name of a mosque was held in Doha in the name Sheikh bin Abdul Wahab.

200 characters of Al Sheikh in Saudi Arabia signed a statement said “Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab bin Sulaiman bin Ali bin Muhammed is from Al Musharraf and Wahba from Banu Tamim. He has only four children who had children; Hussein, Hassan, Ali and Abdullah. We are Saudi citizens and belong to this homeland and condemn obedience to our mandates, and our national affiliation can not be preceded by any tribal or non-tribal affiliation."

False allegations

The statement also said “Who claims his ancestry affiliates with the Sheikh out of those 4 sons inside or outside the kingdom is lying, tells false and fabricated allegations that don’t  relate to truth anyway, like the Emir of an Gulf state who built a mosque in the name of Sheikh Muhammed Bin Abdul Wahab in his country, claiming he’s his grandfather despite all mosque’s Imams don’t relate to the Sheikh’s method  and Salfi call.”

Leaks

Al Sheikh’s family denied bragging their ancestry, stressing on the statement is about preventing who wants to stirr tribal tensions and submit them to national affiliation for political reasons, intending to divide the national unity.

Signatories of the statement also include the grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia Abdulaziz ibn Abdullah Al-Sheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-Asheikh, chairman of the Shoura Council Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Asheikh.

A leaked voice record of the former Emir of Qatar Hamad Bin Khalifa with the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi revealed he attacked Saudi Arabia and claimed he’s  a descendant of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdul Wahab, the Imam of the modern Islamic Renaissance in the Arabian peninsula, one of the preachers of Islam, which emerged with the establishment of the first Saudi state 3 centuries ago.
