Hamad Al-Attiyah, the Emir with no allegiance

  • Hamad Al-Attiyah.. the Emir with no allegiance

Hamad bin Attia can perfectly play with Tamim’s head and implicate the “inexperienced” Emir of Qatar in adventures that cause a series of crises with the Gulf countries and the whole Arab World.

A man whose title is “the Emir with no allegiance” showed his talents in 2013 when he carried out a plan to force traders to waive and sell their stores in “Souq Waqif” claiming to convert it into a heritage institute and re-rent the traders’ properties to them with high-priced contracts to return the huge difference to the state’s treasury.

It’s a demonic action that deserved to be reward by appointing him a special adviser to the rank of minister with a decree issued by the Emir of Qatar.

The ideas of Hamad al-Attiyah moved to Tamim’s head, who made his poisoned consultations a major crisis between the GCC countries and Qatar in 2013. That pushed the Gulf countries to demand Doha’s signature on an agreement prevents it from interfering in the GCC countries’ affairs and stop their media campaigns against Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait.

Al-Attiyah did not stop cawing in Tamim's ear and intensifying his media campaigns against the Gulf, which caused a fissure in the diplomatic relations between Doha and the GCC countries, which led to the withdrawal of Gulf countries ambassadors in 2014.

Gulf sources confirmed that Al-Attiyah oversees the dark side of Doha's policies in supporting the militants and providing them with financial donations and promoting them through the Qatari media, especially Al-Jazeera, and talked about his connection with Mohammed Al-Julani, the leader of Al-Nusra Front, who appeared on Al Jazeera screen to enhance his image and support him before the Arab and international public opinion.

Al-Attiyah's brother Abdulaziz bin Khalifa al-Attiyah, who is involved in direct financing of terrorist groups fighting in Syria under the cover of a humanitarian aid organization, was sentenced in Beirut in absentia to seven years in prison for allegedly running the so-called “the cradle of Sham people“ which collect donations from Gulf to arm terrorists in Syria, especially Al-Nusra Front.

Doha intervened to release Abdulaziz al-Khalifa, and threatened Beirut to expel 30,000 of its citizens unless it releases Abdulaziz bin Khalifa Al-Attiyah, the brother of the special adviser to the Emir of Qatar, who is involved in financing terrorism. The leaks revealed phone calls between Al-Attiyah and Bahraini terrorist Hassan Sultan. That revealed how Qatar involved in attempts to destabilize the Gulf states’ security.

In the leaked phone call, Al-Attiyah gave instructions to Sultan, stressing that he will cost Al Jazeera to fuel events and export the image to the world. That happened in 2011, the golden year of Al Jazeera’s seditions, which were broadcasted to millions of viewers around the world.

Al-Attiyah came on the recent terrorism list issued by Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE and Bahrain after cutting relations with Qatar.
