The Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, secretly visited Tehran for seven hours and then returned to Doha, Iranian media reported on Sunday.
The Iran-based "Asriran" assured that Tamim arrived in Tehran on Saturday and returned to Doha after a seven-hour stay in Iran.
According to the Iranian newspaper, this visit was far from explaining that "the Qatari plane was flight number a7mbk."
Flightradar24, the service that shows real-time commercial aircraft flight information on a map, said that an Amiri plane, Airbus A320-232 (CJ) Prestige, with flight number a7mbk, landed at Tehran Airport at 3:49 pm, before leaving at 10:34 PM.
The secret visit coincided with the arrival of the US B-52 bombers to Al Udeid base in the Qatari emirate, amid a clash of statements between the administration of US President Trump and the regime of the Mullahs in Iran.
With the US for strikes against Iran, Tamim is in trouble, as the current situation could threaten to blow up Qatari-Iranian relations and put Doha in a confrontation with Tehran.
