Western attempts are ongoing to reveal Qatar’s involvement in financing world terrorism. A conference by the European Centre for Information Policy and Security (ECIPS), in collaboration with the European press association for the Arab world in Paris, will be held on Wednesday, December 20 in the headquarters of Belgian Federal Parliament in Brussels.

It is entitled “Stopping financing of Islamic groups in Europe: results, constraints, and solutions.”

Head of the Counter-Terrorism Committee in the Belgian Parliament Koen Metsu said that fighting extremist groups in Europe would be incomplete without touching upon the Qatari fund and its role in supporting groups like the Muslim Brotherhood.

He also revealed that Qatar contributed to supporting the Brotherhood in Europe financially through funding mosques, schools, associations and charities that contribute to spreading extremism.

Metsu called the European Union to find a way to stop financing the extremist groups in the whole continent.
