Financial concerns are also feeding the owners' doubts.

More than a billion Euros have been paid in tax to the French government since the Qataris took charge eight years ago.

That tax bill is more than all of the German, Italian and Spanish top flight clubs combined.

Negotiations between Roma and Qatar Sports Investment, the holding company that owns PSG, are already underway.
