In a new step of escalation against the boycotting countries’ decisions that target stopping the Qatari support to terrorists, Doha’s authorities intended to promote Hamad Abdullah Al-Futtais al-Marri to the rank of Major General in Qatar’s army.
That’s what Abdullah Al Wathain, who is considered one of Hamadein’s arms, said on his “twitter” account.
The Qatari terrorist’s promotion comes despite putting him on the terrorists list which issued by the Quartet that supports counter terrorism since last June.
The most prominent role of “Al-Marri” was in Libya, when he supported the so-called “Libya’s rebels” to take down Gaddafi’s regime, following the uprising that the country witnessed in 2011.
Moreover, he played a key role in the coordination between Qatar’s leaders and the extremist militias that Doha supports in Libya.
