Tamim uses Qatar’s football Team to boost his international repute, Qatar has nationalized European and African players to strengthen the team but failed to win any international championship, so it turned its attention to friendlies.

Football leaks exposed Qatar’s manipulation of scores as Qatar’s friendlies have always been haunted by accusations since 2014. Supervising groups documented malpractices in Qatar’s friendly with North Korea, namely people betting on the game, and ASP in Paris also upheld the accusation. 

Bets on Qatar winning rose significantly before the end of the first half even though the match was heading for a draw. The North Korean keeper was suspiciously substituted in the second half seemingly for no reason for Qatar to score two ridiculous goals in the first 5 minutes.

The French body said it’s not sure the game was fair

Doha exploited ICSS to cover up the crime, the center never issued an official statement on the manipulation only emailed head of Qatar’s FA.
