Tamim in Africa .. Messages to reassure terrorist groups

  • تميم

The Emir of Qatar went to West African countries on a tour that some saw as an attempt to regain influence that might have been lost in East Africa. Others see it as part of a Qatari effort that has been linked for years to support extremism and extremist groups in the continent. Aims to support the terrorist Al Shabab movement and other groups in Somalia.

The African tour includes six countries: Mali, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Guinea and Senegal. Observers believe that Qatar is seeking to find a foothold in the region that has been unstable for years. Qatar has been a constant artery of terrorism in a number of African countries.

Mali, for example, has become a breeding ground for terrorists because of Qatari support. The country's quest for a footbridge in West Africa is also aimed at continuing its subversive effort in North African Arab countries such as Egypt and Libya, where efforts have faced successive setbacks with the decline of the role of terrorist groups in Doha.

Doha has been working to attract terrorists to Mali from around the world, Qatar has used the “assistance and strengthening bilateral relations” cover, and Qatari officials have been traveling in the troubled north of the country under the protection of the extremist movement "Al Tawhid wal Jihad" in Mali

In addition, Doha offers substantial financial and logistical support to the rebels of the Azawad National Liberation Movement, Ansar Al Din, Ansar Al Sharia and Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb. Doha also wants to provide new logistic support to “Ansar Al Islam” group.

As such, Doha has worked to destabilize many countries in West Africa by funding and arming terrorist groups , with the aim of controlling their resources.

Le Canard enchaîné newspaper recently revealed that Al Qaeda's Ansar Al Din movement, Al Tawhid wal Jihad Movement in West Africa and Tuareg separatists received financial support from Qatar under the pretext of aid and food, which landed at Gao and Timbuktu airports in Mali to reach the hands of extremists and terrorists.

Chad stood against Qatar's conspiratorial activity in N'Djamena after supporting fighters on the border with Libya. The Chadian rebels became part of the armed militias as the Third Shield Force, the Sraia of Benghazi and the gangs of Ibrahim Al Jadhran and some Misrata militias that led confrontations against the Libyan army in the Crescent.
