Hamadeen’s policy threaten workers in Qatar hospitals, leading Qatari women refrain from joining the nursing profession.

Qatar's Al-Sharq monitored the reasons behind the tragic situation, saying that nurses account for only 2% of all female workers in Qatar and work for long hours as well as night shifts.

They also suffer from lack of promotion, are subject to unfair laws, and get low salaries that do not correspond to living conditions.

The Qatari Ministry of Health campaigned to tackle the tragic crisis and launched ‘Nursing First’ campaign to attract Qataris to no avail.

The ministry ignored meeting the nurses’ demands and the challenges they face, and then had to resort to foreigners to cover the deficit in hospitals.

Qatar's ruling gang totally ignore the medical sector in Qatar.
