Tawakkol Karman began her life a Yemeni journalist. She was a niqabi who struggled to promote a radical view of Islam across Yemen. Then, when it was time to fight for women’s right, she took off the niqab and piggybacked on the youths’ revolution of February 2011. From Yemen to Sweden’s Nobel prize, who funds Karman? Qatar does.
The Muslim Sister’s account in Qatar National Bank (QNB) holds the number 234442220001, until 2015 it had 35705000 Qatari riyals. The account’s activities shows financial transactions to other Yemeni accounts that belong to Muslim Brotherhood-allied organizations, which are implicated in funding and supporting Al Qaeda, such as Rahma charitable organization and Tawakkol Karman foundation. Facilitating the transfers is Al Omgy Exchange, which is facing international sanctions for working with Al Qaeda in Yemen.
Karman owns five Visa cards with the following numbers:
5318014422200000
5327154422200400
5327154422200900
5307744422200120
Her account in QNB also shows that she shares the same PO Box: 23123 with Qatari intelligence. So why would Qatari intelligence trust Karman with millions of riyals? Because the Muslim Sister transfers money from Qatar to various countries through QNB as a Qatari national, her citizenship nunmber is 27988600428.
And, as a nobel laureate, she tours the world collecting and transferring funds from and to terror groups in Yemen and other countries, all under Qatar’s eyes.
