After Qatari soil became a hotbed for Turkish troops and Doha turned into an Ottoman state, it is no surprise that the Turkish military and electronics company, ASELSAN, is testing the first patch of its “Serb-Zafar” weapons system, one of its latest products, in the desert of Qatar.
The Serb-Zafar weapons system belongs to ASELSAN’s series of remote-controlled weapons and has recently been extensively tested by the army in Qatar.
The system was developed by the prominent Turkish company in order to meet the necessary operational requirements, according to the Anadolu Agency.
The system successfully completed the launch tests in desert conditions after being installed on the Eurok combat vehicle developed by Turkey's Norul Makina. The field tests in Qatar are expected to be an important reference for the large sales contracts that the company aims to sign in Turkey and abroad.
