Minister of Information Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development, Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi, criticized the Qatar’s attempts to distort Saudi Arabia’s preparations to receive the pilgrims in the Holy Mosque, stressing that Riyadh succeeded in thwarting such malicious attempts, Year after year, pointing out that Qatar is keen on the presence of its sports teams in Jeddah more than the performance of the pilgrimage.

In a media statement, Al Rumaihi said, "the efforts of Saudi Arabia to achieve the success of Hajj season, year after year, is an exceptional success story that Arabs and Muslims take pride in”.

The Bahraini official praised the great services provided by Saudi Arabia in the care of provided to the guests of Allah and securing their activities with comfort, tranquility and ease.
