Hamad Bin Khalifa helped smuggle Bin Laden out of Sudan, received him in Qatar

Former Qatari emir Hamad Bin Khalifa has done all he could to help Al Qaeda. After Bin Laden could no longer stay in Sudan, Hamad sent Abdullah Bin Khaled, then-interior minister, on a private plane to Sudan to bring Al Qaeda leader and his men to Qatar, Qatari intelligence officer Ali Al-Dehaniam has revealed.

Al-Dehaniam also said that Hamad Bin Khalifa met with former Qatari prime minister Hamad Bin Jassim and Bin Laden in Doha Airport for three hours. In that meeting, it was agreed that Bin Laden would be supplied with millions of dollars and advanced weapons, including electronic chips to locate Al Qaeda elements in Afghanistan and Pakistan and facilitate communicating with them.
