Ireland.. Qatar’s gate to fund terrorism in Europe

  • دبلن

The mini-state of Qatar sought to recruit the Ikhwani opposition in Europe as a lobbying tool for its interest against the region’s regimes, especially Maghreb and Egypt, as a part of its strategy that aims to establish the so-called “Muslim Brotherhood crescent”.

Ireland’s capital is one of the main cities used by Qatar to promote its terrorist and extremist ideas. The Qatari charity foundations financed the terrorist group “Muslim Brotherhood”, to implement its plots and strategies in the European cities, using new tools whether they are religious, cultural or institutional.

The mini-state of Qatar adopted this strategy to rebuild “the new Ikhwani project” through the European gate by using new tools whether they are religious, cultural or institutional.

Qatar also took advantage of the financial gap caused by freezing the stocks of “Al Taqwa Bank”, which was established by the international leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood in 1988 to fund the group’s activities, after the US Department of the Treasury accused the bank of financing Al-Qaeda to carry out 9/11 attacks. That led to abandon the activities of a large number of Ikhwani economic characters and foundations in many places worldwide.

Qatar had a very important financial role for the Ikhwani foundations inside and outside Europe to bridge the gap caused by freezing the stocks and activities of the senior economic leaders of the international organization.

Qatar also financed establishing some large mosques in Ireland and Denmark; highlighting Qatar’s strategy was mainly about participating in establishing some Ikhwan-affiliated foundations in Europe using Al-Qaradawi as a religious front. One of them was the European Council for Fatwa and Research, which was established in 1996 in Dublin to be one of the main arms of the MB’s horizontal expansion in Europe, that aims to control Fatwas in Europe and promote its role among the European muslims.

In 2010, Crok Islamic Cultural Center received 1.3 million euros fund from Ahmad al-Hamidy, one of the main members of Qatar Charity.
