Qatar is always on the look for anchors and journalists willing to attack and create negative content about whomever Doha points at. And money talks, in fact, Qatar managed to recruit Saudis, Egyptians, and Kuwaitis to fabricate stories meant to undermine the legitimate authority in their homelands.
Qatar’s latest endeavor sought to hire an army of Turkish troll-like attack dogs to target Saudi Arabia. Former Qatari information minister and current advisor to Qatari emir Hamad al-Kawari suggested veteran media personality Khodor Awarki, former director of Al Jazeera editorial planning (2009-2011) and friend of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s son Bilal Erdogan. Awarki would be in charge of planning and coordinating the media attacks. He, however, refused and chose to expose Doha’s heinous schemes.
By constantly searching for media personalities to regurgitate false and fabricated stories to credulous audiences, Tamim administration is trying to make it seem like its side in the Gulf crisis is supported by third parties. It's similar to how Doha bought voices in US think tanks to silence any criticism that may be directed at the Qatari administration.
