A lawyer for Khalid bin Hamad al-Thani, the younger brother of the emir of Qatar, has offered a financial settlement with the plaintiffs in exchange for a waiver of a case by a US federal court in which Khalid bin Hamad is accused of ordering his bodyguard to kill two people, Al Arabiya television reported.

Matthew Pittard and Matthew Ayande claim that Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani violated labor laws in Florida and California and US federal laws regarding the treatment of employers with their workers and employees.

Among the complaints filed by Pittard and Ayande were that they suffered damages, unpaid pensions, overtime, unacceptable working conditions, such as the prohibition of rest and long hours, sometimes for days without allowing the employee to take hours or a day off.

Prosecutors Matthew Pittard and Matthew Ayinde face a clear obstruction by Sheikh Khalid Al Thani to acknowledge the damage and obtain compensation, or even to appear in court to properly settle the legal dispute.

Al-Arabiya.net has learned that Khalid bin Hamad's lawyer registered in the lawsuit refuses to receive the lawsuit and sometimes refuses to acknowledge their representation.

The lawsuit shows that lawyer Arie Kaplan represents Khalid bin Hamad, Geo Strategy Defense Solutions and KHH, but according to this information, Kaplan obstructs the judicial process by refusing to receive the case, or denying that he represents the Qatari defendant Khalid. Al Thani or companies owned or claimed by Pittard and Ayande.

According to Alarabiya.net, the lawyers had previously spoken to the plaintiffs on various occasions, once sending a letter to the plaintiff in response to his claim to retrieve his equipment. The lawyers considered that they represented Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad, or the contracting company, and tried to either reach a compromise on Compensation or threatening plaintiffs with lawsuits.

It is important to note here that the accused Khalid bin Hamad, according to the lawsuit, subjected his "medical assistant" Matthew Ayinde for long hours of hard work, and he asked his assistant Matthew Petard to assassinate two people when he was in California in 2017 and then threatened to kill him in Doha in 2018 and month A weapon and forced him to sign legal papers under threat.
