Qatar’s “Lamp Bear”, A Horrifying Monstrosity

Tamim has squandered Qataris’ money on vanity and caprices, in his latest episodes of impulsivity he spent $7 mil on a giant teddy bear at Hamad International Airport.

Qatar’s media promoted the Lamp Bear despise its botched execution, the horror doll is supposed to make the area Cheerful and friendly.  

US travel expert Ben Schlappig  mocked Hamadein’s poor taste and likened the bank-breaking bear to a doll from a horror movie, “the lamp makes it look  like a suspect being investigated, penetrates the doll from behind in an unsettling way.” 

The horror show is located in the middle of the departure hall to give passengers a pre-flight scare.

Doha continues incurring losses because of Tamim’s intransigence, Qatar’s central bank acknowledged Hamadein’s bad status.

14 Billions riyals were pulled from government deposits in January as Tamim’s intransigence worsened the crisis.

Public sector’s deposits went down 7.1% last January losing 13 bil riyals in  months to reach 283.7 bil. Total deposits dove 1.7% after losing 14 bil riyals. 

The financial crisis also affects Qatari investments abroad, it has  Lowered US t-bills to $1.178 bil because Qatar had to sell shares in t-bills to face lack of liquidity.

Doha resorted to debt markets to solve its crushing financial crisis and Qatar’s due t-bills rose to $19.32.

Qatar’s gang policies threaten Doha’s collapse as liquidity bleeds and investments flee Doha. Qatar’s central bank acknowledged Hamadein’s less than stable economy.

Foreign debt reached levels unseen in the past 10 years, rising 194% to reach 156.5 bil riyals in 2018. Qatar’s gang bad policies caused a crushing crisis.
